About this event
OUR FIRST BPW COLORADO OUTING will be July 12th from 11-12. We are planning on having lunch at a nearby restaurant TBD. A description of the tour is below. We hoping to have more than 8 attendees, so we get that $12.00 discounted rate. The Colorado Women’s History Center is located in the wonderful old Byers-Evans House at 1310 Bannock, Denver, CO 80204
Our docent-led Women's History Tour explores the experiences of Colorado women pre-statehood, suffrage, class history with a focus on domestic work, World War 1, the Arts and Crafts Movement and women artists in Colorado. The Women's History Tour traverses both floors of the museum and is about an hour in duration. Please note that there is an elevator onsite that can accommodate non-electric wheelchairs and transport guests from one floor to the other.
The Women's History Tour is free for History Colorado Members and kids 18 and under, $15.00 for Adults (ages 19-59), $13.00 for Seniors (60+), and $1.00 for EBT card-holders. We offer a discounted group rate of $12.00/guest for groups of 8 or more. You can pay when you arrive the day of the tour in cash, card, or check. It is important that you register on this site so we can report the amount of attendees to the museum.
