How to increase women’s advocacy efforts
– how women can take greater leadership roles in business and in policymaking.
Confirmed for this are Theresa Szczurek about leadership in business and Gena Ozols about political advocacy.
NFBPWC will present a short summary of the Advocacy Module of the L3 program – via Zoom.
Environment/Sustainability
– efforts to fight climate change and improve the environment, and how we can get more involved.
Tracey MacDermott will present.
Violence against women
– state and federal legislation and resources to protect women from violence.
Rita Smith and Elizabeth Newman from CCASA will present.
Women’s Lobby of Colorado
– what the WLC is, how BPW Colorado works with it, and what state legislation they are expecting in 2026.
Ellen Buckley, chair of WLC, will present.
