WORKSHOPS & PRESENTATIONS:

  • How to increase women’s advocacy efforts – how women can take greater leadership roles in business and in policymaking.Confirmed for this are Theresa Szczurek about leadership in business and Gena Ozols about political advocacy. NFBPWC will present a short summary of the Advocacy Module of the L3 program – via Zoom.

         

  • Environment/Sustainability – efforts to fight climate change and improve the environment, and how we can get more involved.Tracey MacDermott will present.

     

  • Violence against women – state and federal legislation and resources to protect women from violence. Rita Smith and Elizabeth Newman from CCASA will present.

         

  • Women’s Lobby of Colorado – what the WLC is, how BPW Colorado works with it, and what state legislation they are expecting in 2026. Ellen Buckley, chair of WLC, will present.

     

  • Colorado Women’s Education FoundationChristine White will present an overview of CWEF.
