  • How to increase women’s advocacy efforts – how women can take greater leadership roles in business and in policymaking.Presenters are Theresa Szczurek, PhD., AI, Tech, & Cybersecurity Expert, about leadership in business, and Gena Ozols, Owner and CEO, Eris Consulting, about political advocacy. National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club will present a short summary of the Advocacy Module of the L3 program – via Zoom.

         

        
  • Environment/Sustainability – efforts to fight climate change and improve the environment, and how we can get more involved.Presenter Tracey MacDermott, Clinical Research Program Director, Department of Surgery at University of Colorado, and chair of BPW's Environment/Sustainability Committee.

   

  • Violence against women – state and federal legislation and resources to protect women from violence. Presented by Rita Smith, International Expert on Violence Against Women, and Elizabeth Newman, Director of Public Policy, Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA).
      

     

  • Women’s Lobby of Colorado – what the WLC is, how BPW Colorado works with it, and what state legislation they are expecting in 2026. Presented by Ellen Buckley, Board Chair, Women’s Lobby of Colorado.
    

 

  • Colorado Women’s Education FoundationPresented by Christine White, President.
