Create Free Mailing Lists to Boost Your Business!
If you are interested in learning how to create free mailing lists of people or businesses or maybe even create heat maps of your target customers in the Denver metro area or anywhere in the US this is a great luncheon to attend. Amanda will demonstrate how easy it is to run free reports and other business research queries through the Library's BizBoost program. The program's goal is to find quantitative numbers and statistics to give credibility to your business or marketing plan - for free!

Amanda Armstrong is a librarian with a passion for research and analysis. She started at Denver Public Library as the Business Librarian last year. In this role, she oversees a team of skilled business research librarians on BizBoost (one-on-one consultations), and she coordinates all business related outreach for the library. Prior to working at Denver Public Library, she served as the Business Librarian at Loveland Public Library for two years, which included serving on the board of directors for Allied Women Entrepreneurs and as a lead planner for Loveland Startup Week 2017. She held a variety of data and project management roles at DaVita HealthCare Partners over 13 years. She enjoys taking on additional challenges to include working as a wedding coordinating and a Virtual Teaching Assistant for graduate level courses in website user experience and the fundamentals of metadata. Her formal education includes a BA in music from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin.
