Have fun and make a difference!  Come and join us this month!  Better yet, bring a friend!

Business and Professional Women of Denver serves working women in the Denver Metro area.  We meet the second Wednesday of the month. Costs to attend the meeting are detailed below.  Our program varies each month according to the needs and interests of our members.

We begin with a free-registration/no-host happy hour from 6-7pm, and then start our program and meeting promptly at 7pm, to have you done by 8:30 to head home to your family or a good night's sleep.

Our next speaker and topics of conversation will be:
Liz Wendling (http://www.lizwendling.com/) speaking on "Old School vs. New School Selling: Update Your Outdated Sales Strategies"
"- Are you meeting with lots of potential clients but they're not returning your calls or emails or doing business with you?
- Do you keep hearing the same objections like, I don’t have the money, I need to think it over, or it is not in the budget?
Are your potential clients seeing you as a trusted advisor or just another person trying to sell them something?

If so, it’s a sign that you may need an update in your sales skills, process and sales language.
There is a new and more modern way to sell yourself and your products and services that today’s consumers appreciate and notice. Get some practical and tactical guidance about what it takes to attract more clients and close more business.
Selling is like a large puzzle. As you discover how each piece fits, you gain clarity on what works for you. Update your approach and change your results!

You will:
Understand how to sell in the way today’s consumers buy (it’s radically different that 5 short years ago)
Learn the old-school words and phrases that turn people off and send them to your competition.
Find out why people don’t call you back and avoid answering your emails (this  alone will change your income)"

It's going to be great!
